I went to another college for 3 years. While I was at the other college, I changed my major 5 times without any concern from my advisors or counselors. I decided I was wasting my time and money. I knew I needed a college with a small atmosphere that would challenge me to live up to my abilities and also give me direction. The fact that Our Lady of Holy Cross College was small and my teachers knew who I was not only on paper, but personally, helped me to achieve my goals. My teachers also gave me direction to change my major to something that was better suited for me. They knew me well and were sincere about helping me with my future goals and success.

I loved Our Lady of Holy Cross College because everyone and every experience is on such a personal level. It was the first time I cared about school. I enjoyed what I was learning and it gave me a lot of self confidence. My teachers gave me a lot of self confidence because they were concerned for me and I knew I could go to them whenever I needed help.

Maturity! Our Lady of Holy Cross College gave me an opportunity to mature into the person I am. I changed my major with help from my teachers and advisors to a major that I enjoyed and loved. Our Lady of Holy Cross College gave me the direction to mature.

New students will have the opportunity to get to know their teachers on a personal level. They really do care about your future, not just if you get a degree. They can help you with advice, information, research and academics. It's a small college; take advantage of not being just a number.

My favorite memory at Our Lady of Holy Cross College--Graduating! Walking across the stage and receiving my diploma while my family, friends, and teachers were there watching.

If I could do it all over again, I would go to Our Lady of Holy Cross College from the beginning. I feel I would have been able to accomplish more. However, I don't regret it. Live and learn.
