I chose OLHCC because I heard about their great education program from friends who graduated from there. Teaching from the heart and not from the book makes the best teachers. This is a reflection of my experience here at OLHCC. They not only teach technique but they also teach by example to send their future teachers out with characteristics of compassion, appreciation of diversity and patience. This is what makes a true life long teacher.
The support I receive as a student here is absolutely wonderful. My professors are always ready, willing, and able to advise and assist me in any way. The small school environment gives you much more one-to-one contact with your instructors. I have all the personalized support a student could need.
I know that by attending OLHCC I am receiving the best education. Both the faculty and the students at OLHCC have earned an amazing reputation for academic excellence with many schools throughout the state. I have no doubt that when I look for a job after graduation, that my degree from OLHCC will give me an advantage with employers.

During my senior year of high school, I decided to head into the field of Nursing. I did my research and visited several universities with nursing programs and decided Our Lady of Holy Cross College was the best school for me because of the one on one attention available at Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
The excellent nursing program at Our Lady of Holy Cross College has opened doors for me in the job market. All I had to say when I interviewed for a job at a local hospital was that I was a student at OLHCC, and they asked me "When would I like to start?" This great reputation is an asset to every student who graduates, providing the opportunity to get a job anywhere in the United States.
I would advise future students to give OLHCC a serious look before looking at other larger universities. OLHCC offers all students an affordable tuition with wonderful staff and faculty who are willing to help any chance they have.

I chose Our Lady of Holy Cross College because I really liked the atmosphere on campus. I knew I would not be just a number in the system, I was going to be a person with a name that people would know!
My experiences here have been great. As a student worker in the Business Office, I was often able to put lessons learned in class to use at work! That opportunity helped me a great deal in understanding the processes of the business world.
If I could do it all over again, I would definitely choose Our Lady of Holy Cross College again. I love living in New Orleans, and being a part of such a great school!
