Ms. Stoll has been a registered nurse for 22 years with her clinical expertise in adult critical care. At present the courses she teaches as an instructor are: Nursing 400 lecturing on topics in care of the critically ill patient and serves as a clinical critical care instructor; Pathophysiology; Nursing I lecturing on topics in the fundamentals of nursing and serves as a clinical instructor for nursing fundamentals; Nursing research.
She joined the College as a part-time instructor in 1998 and became a full-time instructor in 2000. Her graduate studies included working with acutely ill and critically ill adult patients following the Clinical Nurse Specialist track with adult health as the area of concentration. She was awarded the Leadership Award and Academic Excellence Award while in graduate school at the University of South Alabama. Ms. Stoll holds a certification in Adult Critical Care Nursing and is an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor and Provider. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. Ms. Stoll presents professional workshops for registered nurses in New Orleans, throughout the state of Louisiana and at national conferences. She teaches a critical care course, designed for registered nurses, every summer in New Orleans. She has published by writing a Column, “Clinical Focus” on Sepsis and Septic Shock. Published in the March/April 2001 issue of Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing; Cardiovascular System chapter in the text Real-World Nursing Survival Guide: Pathophysiology published in 2002 by W. B. Saunders Co.; Chapters on Sympathetic Nervous System Agents, Chapter on Parasympathetic Nervous System Agents and Chapter on Antiarrythmics in the text World Nursing Survival Guide: Pharmacology published in 2002 by W.
