The tactical objectives of our plan are as follows:
I. ENHANCE ALUMNI BOARD MEMBERSHIP As an Alumni Association, it is our objective and responsibility to inform new graduates that they are official members of the OLHCC Alumni Association. Further, we must strive to engage current students in alumni activities so that they will be active in the association after graduation. In addition, as an association, we must encourage dedicated and willing alumni to join various committees and the board when deemed possible and necessary.
II. EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE We must make a conscious and diligent effort to communicate alumni information to our internal constituents as well as our external ones. This information can be, but is not limited to, events, community service opportunities, and professional availabilities at public entities. This act will be done with the intent to develop and increase relationships with our College community and the civic organizations.
III. REMAIN MISSION ORIENTEDThe Ministry of the Marianites of Holy Cross’s teachings must always remain foremost in our endeavors. Blessed Father Basil Moreau’s “educating the minds and hearts of our students” is vital to our association because following graduation, OLHCC alumni will enter the community as leaders both professionally and spiritually. This leadership, in turn, will strengthen our institution as well as our Alumni/Alumnae Association through time, talent, and treasure.
IV. ESTABLISH A RESPONSIVE ENVIRONMENTAlthough we must remain mission oriented, it is our duty to provide the College with the resources to enhance the image and affectability of its faculty, staff, administration, and students as it pertains to Holy Cross education. As our College family encounters an ever changing society, we must help introduce them to innovative and creative methodologies and tactics as we experience in our daily lives. This direction will assist our institution with the opportunity to evolve and always meet current trends or practices.
