Now Hiring a Manager/Shift Manager

Looking for a great opportunity to learn more about the travel industry and gain invaluable management skills? 

Avis Budget Group, a global leader in the travel services industry, is searching for a dedicated Shift Manager to work at our New Orleans, La location. This job contributes to the success of our company by supervising one or more of the daily operations and sales functions on or off airport to ensure maximization of fleet utilization, incremental revenue, customer satisfaction and employee management.  This position specifically supervises the counter, service and/or bus area as assigned. Performs duties and provides service in accordance to established operation procedures and company policies.     

Our ideal candidate for this shift manager position will possess excellent leadership skills and work well with both internal and external customers.  We are looking for strong individuals that can motivate and encourage team quality and customer service.  As a manager you will supervise shift personnel, work with customers and perform operational duties. 

 

Qualifications:

High School Degree plus 4 years of supervisory experience OR Associates Degree plus 2 years of supervisory experience OR Bachelors degree plus 1 year of work experience.

 

The successful candidate must be willing to and/or possess the following:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong supervisory, communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills.
  • Good decision making skills
  • Ability to build loyalty with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work various shifts
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

Healthcare Coordinator - RN

As a Healthcare Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing leadership and enhancing the well-being of our treasured residents within the community. You will supervise Care Managers, Wellness Nurses and Medication Care Managers while overseeing medication programs and maintaining resident assessments.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Proper documentation of all nursing and healthcare services for residents
  • Maintenance of health service plans and resident assessments
  • Management of medication programs
  • Assisting in the recruiting, hiring and training of clinical team members
  • Supervision of Care Managers, Medication Care Managers and Wellness Nurses
  • Responsible for team member leadership, including performance management and evaluations.

 
Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current state license as a Professional Registered Nurse. (LVN's and LPN's may be considered in states where RN license is not required).
  • 1+ year experience in assisted living, home health or long term care industries
  • 1+ year experience nursing management experience, including hiring staff, coaching, performance, management of daily operations, supervision, discipline and counseling.
  • Demonstration of competence in assessment skills, injections / medication administration, follow-up and triage.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours when necessary to meet the needs of our residents
