Dear OLHCC Parent,
As we turn the page on yet another year, Our Lady of Holy Cross College is gearing up for a productive semester. Spring 2011 will certainly bring joy to many of our students who will be graduating in a few months and excitement to other students who will be one step closer to receiving their degrees.
The semester begins on Saturday, January 22nd, and the College will be closed on Monday, January 17th, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

As parents of a student at Our Lady of Holy Cross College, we are writing to ask you to join us in becoming active members of the College community. We enthusiastically encourage you to participate in the Friends of the College program with a gift of any size. With your donation, and those of other parents, OLHCC can continue to provide a quality education for our students.
Your financial support of the College will help the historic Holy Cross tradition to flourish, and with so many exciting and promising initiatives, there is no better time to do it! In fact, did you know that:
There is ongoing renovation of the campus that offers a colorful and warm environment for our students to learn.
OLHCC was named in the top 15% of military friendly schools by G.I. Jobs Magazine.
Every science lab on campus has been renovated over the last three years, which benefits all students regardless of academic major.
You may designate your gift for general needs of the College or for student scholarships. All gifts will qualify for “Friends” membership. We urge you to consider a gift of at least $100; however, we want you to know that your participation, at any amount, is very important to the College.
You can mail your donation to:
Office of Philanthropy
4123 Woodland Drive
New Orleans, LA 70131
Thank you for considering a gift to help support the College. By making a donation, you will be helping to light the way for the leaders of tomorrow.
Sincerely yours,

Kevin & Mary anne Colburn (Parents of Katelynn Colburn, Student Government President)

Greetings OLHCC Parent,
Can you believe that the new school is about to begin? How quickly does the time go!
As we approach the 2010-2011 academic year, the College's faculty, staff, and alumni are extremely excited about the opportunities that this fiscal year will bring, and we hope that we have your support and involvement throughout the way.
Our Fall 2010 schedule will be highlighted by popular events such as Welcome Back to School Week, a Fall Social, and the College's Christmas Party. You are invited to all of the events, and we would love for you to join us. These events are designed to gather all members of the College community to celebrate in the rich history of Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Now that you are part of the family, your presence will help to strengthen this tradition.
Throughout the course of the year, you will be eligible to receive an e-newsletter that will help you to stay in touch with the College. As the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations, please feel free to contact me if you would like to receive this e-newsletter, participate in any events, or would like to share with us any ideas that you may have. I can be reached at 504.398.2279 or crholdon@olhcc.edu. This year will be a fun-filled and productive one. And with your leadership, we can work together to make your student's experience at our institution invaluable.
Sincerely in OLHCC,
