OLHCC Admissions Counselors
Erin Gordon, First Time Freshman Admissions Counselor
Hi, my name is Erin Gordon, and I am the first time freshmen Admissions Counselor. I moved to New Orleans from Vicksburg, Mississippi after graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University in May 2009. I began working at OLHCC in September 2009 assisting incoming students with preparation for their placement test and current students with tutoring services in the Center for Teaching and Learning. I later took on a position in the Office of Admissions; initially I assisted all students, from first time freshmen to graduate, with every aspect of the admissions process. I have now been granted the opportunity to solely work with all first time freshmen from their first time inquiring until their First Time Freshman Orientation and Registration. I look forward to meeting each of you as you begin your journey to college!

Ana Nanney, Transfer Admissions Counselor (L-Z)
Hi, my name is Ana Nanney, and I am an Admissions Counselor for transfer students whose last names begin with L-Z. I am also moderator for the Student Educators and Leaders (SEALs) and I coordinate our High School Connection Breakfast for High School Counselors.
I am originally from Thibodaux, Louisiana but moved to New Orleans in 2004 to attend Our Lady of Holy Cross College. During my time as a student, I was a member of SGA, Delta Sigma Pi and worked as a student worker in the Bursar's Office. After graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Business Management, I attended Delgado Community College where I pursued and completed a Certificate in Interior Design. OLHCC couldn't keep me away for long, and in 2010 I accepted a position working as a part of our Center for Teaching and Learning.
Not long after I was given the opportunity to become an Admissions Counselor in the Office of Admissions. At the start I was working with all students helping them on their path towards coming to OLHCC. Now, as the transfer student Admissions Counselor, I get the chance to focus on those students looking to transfer in to Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
Whether I'm giving a tour or helping a student with a transfer evaluation, it is always exciting to meet and work with new transfer students!
