Founded in 1916 by the Marianites of Holy Cross, Our Lady of Holy Cross College is a coeducational, Catholic college, offering undergraduate and graduate programs and located right here in New Orleans. Over fifty percent of the College's students come from the East Bank of the Mississippi River. At Our Lady of Holy Cross College, students receive an education that combines academic quality, personal attention from faculty, and opportunities to build workplace skills through internships, clinical experiences, and community service. More than 97 percent of OLHCC graduates remain in the greater New Orleans area. They teach the children of the community, take care of loved ones when they are ill, operate the businesses citizens depend on, and volunteer their time to the city they call home. In short, the quality of their OLHCC education has an impact on the quality of life in metropolitan New Orleans and Louisiana.
