OLHCC/Ochsner Radiologic Technology Students Win Quiz Bowl
2014 Victorious OLHCC/OCHSNER Radiologic Technology students win their state association's annual Quiz Bowl. - Radiologic Technology students from Our Lady of Holy Cross College (OLHCC)/Ochsner School of Allied Health Sciences won the Quiz Bowl competition at the annual meeting of the Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists on July 10. The OLHCC team, previous Quiz Bowl winners
, competed against 12 other Radiologic Technology programs. They won the first match and were undefeated for the entire event.

. "Our Radiologic Technology degree program, affiliated with Ochsner, educates and trains highly qualified health professionals. Our students' performance in this competition shows their skill and proficiency," says OLHCC President Ronald J. Ambrosetti, PhD.
Chimene Pitre, Radiologic Technology program director for OLHCC and Oschner, says, "The Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists (LSRT) is our state professional society. Its annual meeting allows technologists to earn continuing education units and network." OLHCC students were active event volunteers. They distributed and collected attendance cards, worked at the registration desk and designed set-up and break-down. Students and faculty prepare for the event and competition throughout the year.
