Dear Members of Our Lady of Holy Cross College Community:
It is with great pleasure that we announce today that, during its April meeting last evening, the Our Lady of Holy Cross College Board of Regents unanimously selected the 17th President in the College's 96 year history, Dr. Ronald J. Ambrosetti. He will begin his tenure at Our Lady of Holy Cross on July 1. Dr. Ambrosetti is currently the Provost and Dean of the College at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York.
After a comprehensive national search process, in which the Board of Regents, faculty, staff, alumni,and the student body participated, Dr. Ambrosetti was selected from an impressive group of candidates representing a diversity of backgrounds and accomplishments. We are very excited that Dr. Ambrosetti--with his energy, enthusiasm and spirit of collaboration--will be the next President selected to continue the Marianite tradition of "educating hearts and minds" at Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
