OLHCC Welcomes Dr. Myles Seghers as Interim President

On August 27, 2011 Fall classes started at Our Lady of Holy Cross College, West Bank New Orleans’ only four-year college, with a new chief executive at the helm. “I am eager for classes to begin,” said Interim President Myles Seghers. “The start of the Fall semester at the College is always my favorite time of year, with the sense of a new beginning and all the optimism it entails for the coming year.”
Myles M. Seghers, Ph.D. assumed the leadership of Our Lady of Holy Cross College only a few days ago, at the behest of the Members of the Corporation of Our Lady of Holy Cross College as they announced on August 16 that they are forming a new Board of Regents. A seasoned administrator at the College, Dr. Seghers brings his years of experience in educational leadership and a reputation as a much-respected faculty member in the Education Department to this interim appointment.
