Carol Scott receives prize at the International Colored Pencil Exhibition

Congratulations to Carol Scott, Associate Professor of Art, who recently received a prize for Outstanding Recognition in the International Colored Pencil Exhibition. This was the first time that she entered the competition. This year was the 19th show presented by the Colored Pencil Society of America and was held in Dallas. The show will continue until August 1st or can be seen online at www.cpsa.org.
Carol loves colored pencils and has been using them in her art for a long time. Her crystal series can be seen as a one-person show at Jean Bragg Gallery, 600 Julia Street, opening on November 5th.
