Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library is a group of people dedicated to supporting the Blaine S. Kern Library. The group assists the Library financially by book sales, raffles, and membership drives as well as socially and culturally by sponsoring book signings, musical concerts, and other community activities.Membership and Dues
FRIEND - $10 annually
Use of library and invitation to "Friends" functions and newsletters.
Additionally, the following categories have book borrowing privileges
(with a maximum of 5 books at one time):
SENIOR CITIZEN - $10 annually
Age 65 and over
INDIVIDUAL - $25 annually
FAMILY - $35 annually
CONTRIBUTING - $50 annually
One book added to collection with inscribed bookplate
SUSTAINING - $100 annually
Two books added to collection with inscribed bookplate
CORPORATE - $500 annually
Five books added to collection with inscribed bookplate
BENEFACTOR - $1,000 annually
Same as above, plus name added on the Friends of the Library plaque
