Economics Faculty Position
Our Lady of Holy Cross College’s Business Administration Department invites applications for a full‐time economics instructor’s position. This is a nine‐month, non‐tenured appointment. Faculty rank is commensurate with credentials, background and experience.
Position Description: The applicant must be available to teach beginning in the fall 2014 semester. A twelve undergraduate credit hour course teaching load is required. The applicant will be responsible for fostering the mission of the College through teaching, research and service. The applicant will be required to engage in outcomes assessment and work continuously to promote course and program improvement.
Qualifications: A doctorate is required with at least eighteen graduate credit hours in economics. The applicant must also be qualified to teach business statistics. Prior experience teaching and academic advising in higher education is preferred. The ideal applicant will utilize innovative instructional practices, collaborate with departmental faculty, and demonstrate student‐centeredness. Technological expertise, and experience teaching online courses, is a plus.
