Stay in touch with us! Let us hear from you!
Since joining the College in September 2011, one of the repeated themes I've heard from our graduates is "We want to know more about what is happening at our Alma Mater, so that we can become more involved-and be of more help."

As this issue "goes to press," members of the OLHCC community are awaiting news of the selection of our next president. Recently, three finalists visited campus for extensive conversations with students, faculty, staff, alumni and others associated with the College. The three finalists were winnowed from an original applicant pool of nearly 40. When the selection is offically determined by the Board of Regents, it will be publicized widely---including via a special edition of this newsletter. Detailed background about the search is available on the College's website at: http://www.olhcc.edu/news-and-events-index/presidential-search-info.html. Meantime, popular and 20+ year OLHCC faculty member Dr. Myles Seghers continues to serve as our well-regarded Interim President.
Long-time faculty member Dr. Patricia Prechter has been named provost at OLHCC. "Dr. P.," as she is known to so many, has been interim provost since last August. She continues to serve as chairman of the Department of Nursing and Allied Health, and as a professor of nursing. Dr. Prechter is a registered nurse and has been involved with nursing education for more than 35 years.
