Doctor Shahoyan is an Associate Professor of Economics at OLHCC. She speaks Russian and Armenian, both of which are native languages Her academic experience is diverse, having served in the following positions:Director of Organizational Management Program at Wiley College, Marshall, TX, 2007-2009 Visiting Professor of Economics, Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at SUBR, Baton Rouge, 2004-2005 Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Department Chair at State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA), 1993-2004 Associate Professor of Economics at Russian-Armenian State University, 2005-2007 She has experience in International educational projects such as two American-Armenian International Projects in the field of Business Education, in her position as Coordinator/Director from 2000-2005. She was the Core Consultant for the European TEMPUS-TACIS project “ University-Industry Liaison Center at SEUA” from 1999-2000. Doctor Shahoyan's professional experience includes service as the National Expert/Consultant to the Study Team of Japan International Cooperation Agency for the Intergovernmental program “The study On Master Plan for development of the private sector in Armenia “ from 1998-1999 and Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Armenia on Industrial Policy Issues in 1998. Doctor Shahoyan has professional interests in several areas including International aspects of Higher Education, International Economics and International Business, Comparative Economic Systems, and Industrial Management.
