Mr. Ramesh Parikh speaks his mother tongue language which is Gujarati and his national language “ Hindi”. Mr. Parikh, Assistant Professor, has been a member of the faculty of Our Lady of Holy Cross College since 1983. He serves as Reference/Government Documents Librarian. Mr. Parikh worked in a variety of library positions in academic and special libraries in India. He established the Indian Petrochemicals Library in Baroda, India. While working at Our Lady of Holy Cross College he organized the U.S. Government Printing Office Federal Depository Library Program. During his tenure he implemented reference and government document collections for the undergraduate and graduate Education and Counseling programs. Mr. Parikh received the Endowed Professorship of Notre Dame Class of 1956 in 2002-2004. Mr. Parikh has received service awards from the Division of Education and the Division of Nursing.
