Born, reared, and educated in New Orleans, Dr. Labranche earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Loyola University of the South, his Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of New Orleans, and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biometry with a concentration in Genetics from the Louisiana State University Medical Center.
