Antoinette Jefferson, MSN, RN

Abstract

Antoinette Jefferson has been a Registered Nurse for 19 years with clinical experience in the pediatric population, and 6 years of clinical experience with adult population and 8 years in nursing education. She has taught across the curriculum in Fundamentals, Adult-Health, and Pediatrics. Her dissertation topic title is “The Impact of Childhood Diabetes Mellitus in Low-Income African American Families”. She has joined the faculty at Our Lady of Holy Cross as part-time clinical adjunct.

Antoinette Jefferson has taught across the curriculum in Fundamentals, Adult-Health, Maternal –Newborn and Pediatrics. Antoinnette has participated in presenting to nurse educators on a variety of topics including: Virtual ATI in Real Time, Orlando, Florida; The Role of the Academic Counselor in Gathering and Interpreting ATI Data, Las Vegas, Nevada; Transforming the Second-Degree Accelerated Student, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and The Transformation of the Second-Degree Accelerated Student-San Antonio, Texas.

Ms. Jefferson is currently a member of the following associations: National League for Nursing American Nurses Association New Orleans District Nurses Association Xi Psi Chapter at Large of Sigma Theta Tau International Golden Key International Honour Society Cambridge Who’s Who American Organization of Nurse Executives Louisiana Great One Hundred Nurses
