Professor Dell has both a Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans. She has extensive graduate, alternative certification, and undergraduate teaching in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction at local universities. During her 38 years she has had experience as an elementary and middle school teacher ( B.A.- Elementary Ed.), principalship, staff development coordinator, Louisiana external consultant for Title I, and research associate with UNO and Stanford University.
The focus of her research is educational restructuring and curriculum transformation in Educational Leadership Development. Professor Dell has presented her research at local, statewide, national, and international conferences. She has also concentrated on the use of teaching strategies through the integrated arts and non-traditional strategies. Dr. Dell has provided customized local, statewide, and national leadership and teacher training from Pre – K to university faculty members. She is presently involved in the creation of rubrics to meet statewide and national educational standards. Ballet, visual arts, gardening, and love of cats are favorite past times.Ph.D. University if New Orleans (1995 )
