Janae Arcement, M.S.N.

Department/Program: Nursing and Allied Health

Abstract

Mrs. Arcement has been a registered nurse for almost ten years. She joined OLHCC in the spring of 2007. At present she is teaching with the faculty of Nursing 300, Nursing Care of Childbearing Women and Children and Nursing 420, Community Nursing. She has also taught with the Nursing 203, Fundamentals of Nursing course.

Mrs. Arcement has much experience working in pediatric acute and primary care. Her graduate studies focused on the pediatric population, and she received her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care.

She is a current member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Kappa Gamma Pi National Catholic Honor Society and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
